Infinity Ziona Privateers	Posted - 2006.10.24 00:00:00 - [1] Hi Ollo. Yes we decided that we liked New EvE Order since you guys were so prevalent in empire and were pretty good sports. Kill Losses - Not interested. Smack - Not interested. Your ship / Cargo / Pods - Interested. Something for you all to think about. I had 15 people camp me for 2 hours the other day. They wasted 2 of my hours, I wasted 15 x 2 of theirs. I win. I have approx 8 thousand people who cant afk / safely travel in empire anymore vs 100 privateers who cant. We win. I spend 1 billion a month on wars, you blow up my megathron once per month and cost me 30 million, do I care when I spend 1 billion in that month for the wars? No. Basically you cant beat us even when you beat us and judging by our kilboards, we are killing significantly more ships. However I have never put much trust in anyones killboards and basically think they're horse***. So save the aggression for in game and we'll see how things pan out. Infinity Ziona Seeming most of the alliances you war are in/planning to move to 0.0, i dont really think they care about your meaninless war anyway besides, during the time i was in ASCN (From Day 1) we were pretty much in a empire war 24/7 and we had certainly been hit alot harder, and we still did AFK Fly though empire, wow you killed a crusier, but we were mining 50m p/h with out other accounts before CYVOK kicked out VTIL for childish reasons only his mind could resort to I agree. This can be answered in general by anyone is the WCS nerf going to really alter things to be more close range type combat. There is no 'Privateer style of warfare' since there is no formal structure, heirachary or organized military in Privateers, we're all just soloers basically. Expecting that such a disparate group could answer that question is pretty silly imo. What I think is going to happen is you will see alliances blobbing even more then they already do because now they cant run as easily if things go south and you will see less small group PvP and less PvP'rs willing to fight full stop. Its still a good change in my opinion but other changes need to be made to compensate such as stacking locktime penalties based on enemy locks on a ship and slower warp outs the more ships in your vicinity. The HP increase is one thing that does counterbalance but more is needed. The Privateering Life

Let me repeat that. I dont care. I spend more in a month on these wars then the total losses of my entire corporation since we started. So arguing about whether your killboards or our killboard or that guy in Fountains killboards say is pointless. Because I Dont Care. I and the corporation I created exist to attack you if your red and thats it period. You are prey and your stats, your dreams, aspirations of greaterness or blobbiness are irrelavent. Do I consider myself an uber PvP'r, no, I sort of suck. But Im happy with the kills I get and thats the only thing thats important to me. So to Sum Up: 1. I dont care. 2. See above. 3. See above. Privateers does not drop decs because someone 'owns', since technically its impossible to 'own' Privateers, as we're not a single unit, to be 'owned'. Do not try to apply your perception of corp operations to Privateers as its a completely different setup from the usual. The war on ISS was dropped because we rotate wars to different alliances based on a whim we might have or because we see more viable targets. Please remember that our declarations are not emotionally based in the sense we want to hurt you or you have done something wrong to deserve our attention. They are more financially based thus we dont have any reason to repeatedly declare against an alliance if a more profitable one is available. As for the losses / wins debate, its a losing argument before it even starts since nobody can really know the true statistics as they are not all recorded. All I know is I have lost two megathrons in the 18+ alliance wars we have fought so far, insured, total losses about 70 million isk with the t1 mods i had fitted. Easily offset by my very first kill of a hauler carrying 300 million in loot, of which I recovered 200 million. That was a guy named Tack, formerly of RISE alliance. I had a Privateers member donate 100 million after a nice kill and have had multiple 10 - 50 million isk donations. I think its unlikely we are behind in isk gain to losses based on that information.
